You can choose either the regular bowl or the large bowl and enjoy the scent and taste of various spices used in making the chef`s special
broth. The combination of spices used in the broth was passed down from the chef's grandfather in Sabanji district, and recreated in the Kinugasa district of Kyoto.
This unique broth is made with Japanese beef from carefully selected, braised and seasoned with more than 20 different spices that give its characteristic aroma and slightly piquant flavor.

We have always strived to provide a comfortable experience for all of our guests.
However, we have experienced repeated incidents of children scraping or damaging the earthen walls, standing on chairs with their shoes on, and breaking glasses with utensils. In particular, the earthen walls are an important feature of our traditional Kyoto townhouse, and have now been damaged beyond repair.
We have also had children occupy seats without ordering, as well as requests for space to store strollers, diaper-changing areas, warming baby food, and longer stays to help with eating. With our limited space and staff, we are no longer able to meet all of these needs.
Even after informing guests that we cannot fulfill certain requests, we are often asked to make special exceptions. This has created unfairness for other guests and sometimes caused additional problems. It was also difficult for our staff, given their role as service providers, to address loud behavior from young children, and when these situations went unresolved, they led to concerns or complaints from other guests.
We have long considered and implemented various measures; however, we have not been able to find a solution to these challenges. Therefore, with deep regret, as announced last year, we are no longer able to accommodate children aged 10 and under, including infants, as of January 1, 2026. We appreciate your understanding.
